The old people say: the young men don't like to stay with old men. Maybe they are at different age (Diablo 3 PowerLeveling), so they will have different mind and idea. So maybe they have not too many words to say. So the young people would like to stay with young men. When they are finish work they like to go shopping with friends or have fun with them. They don't like to go home have dinner with family, maybe you are not a mom and dad right now, I think the old men want to stay with you more time.
When I am in middle school, this is a summer holiday; stay at home is really boring, and I don't like to do house work for mom, if a classmate call me, I will leave in time, mom will says: I ask you with me, you don't like, but when your friends call you, you will leave quickly. Maybe we don't have the same words.
But we should spend more time with them, when you gown up, maybe you will leave family to work in another city, at this time the family hope you can go home when the holiday is coming. But maybe you think about want to have a trip. But they will tell you just do want you like, maybe you will choose trip at last, but the family numbers will be sad. Mom always likes this, she won't tell you and asks you have to do something, they are old, and you should spend more time with them.
